During March 2025, Abasha contributed to the newrelic/newrelic-quickstarts repository by upgrading the GitHub Actions cache action from version v3 to v4. This work focused on enhancing the CI/CD pipeline’s reliability and maintainability by ensuring the build process leveraged the latest features and security patches. Abasha utilized YAML to define workflow changes and applied expertise in CI/CD and GitHub Actions to align the repository with current best practices. The upgrade addressed potential security concerns and streamlined future maintenance, reflecting a methodical approach to version management and secure automation. No major bugs were fixed during this period, emphasizing proactive infrastructure improvement.
