Abbas worked on expanding accessibility in the fossasia/eventyay-tickets repository by implementing Persian language support through Weblate-based localization. Using front end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, Abbas integrated Persian translations to allow native speakers to navigate and use ticketing features more effectively. The technical approach involved managing the end-to-end localization workflow, collaborating with open-source translators, and ensuring Git-based traceability for all contributions. While the work focused on a single feature over one month, it addressed the need for broader user reach and improved user experience for Persian-speaking users, demonstrating practical skills in localization and translation management.
