Worked on integrating advanced hardware management capabilities into the sonic-net/sonic-buildimage repository, focusing on the Mellanox platform. The primary contribution involved incorporating HW-MGMT version 7.0050.2930, which required aligning with platform readiness and ensuring seamless build and test automation. Leveraged Makefile for build automation and hardware management, introducing a dedicated integration path to streamline updates. The integration was validated by building images and running compatibility tests using sonic-mgmt, confirming stability and readiness for deployment. This work enhanced the platform’s hardware management support, demonstrating a methodical approach to system integration and validation within a collaborative, production-focused development environment.
