Worked on the JumboCode/bread-and-roses repository to enhance event creation workflows by implementing stricter input validation, ensuring that only essential fields are required when adding new events. This approach improved data integrity and reduced the likelihood of user errors during event creation. The work involved cleaning up the codebase by removing obsolete test scripts and eliminating dead code, which aligned with maintainability goals and minimized future maintenance overhead. Incorporated peer review feedback to ensure adherence to team coding standards and reduce potential runtime errors. Utilized JavaScript and TypeScript for both API integration and frontend development throughout the project’s duration.
