Over a three-month period, contributed to core infrastructure and feature development across the ggml-org/llama.cpp and huggingface/open-r1 repositories. Built Morph Cloud integration for open-r1, expanding code execution provider options and enhancing evaluation flexibility through backend and cloud integration work in Python and Bash. In llama.cpp, introduced a pre-norm embedding masking flag to support more flexible downstream generation tasks, aligning with evolving machine learning requirements. Addressed runtime stability and WebAssembly interoperability by fixing floating-point exceptions and symbol collisions, while enabling Gemma 4 audio projector embedding support. Demonstrated depth in C, C++, and low-level optimization, focusing on robust, maintainable solutions.
June 2026: Strengthened stability and WebAssembly interoperability across llama.cpp and ggml, while enabling Gemma 4 embedding features. Key outcomes include fixing a potential floating-point exception in clip graph initialization by ensuring a non-zero divisor, resolving WebAssembly fallback symbol collisions to ensure correct vector dot product usage, and adding Gemma 4 audio projector embedding size support with removal of an unnecessary projection_dim reference. These changes reduce runtime risk, improve wasm portability, and readiness for Gemma 4 deployments.

May 2025 — Open-r1 Morph Cloud integration: Added Morph Cloud as a new code execution provider alongside E2B. Implemented router scripts, updated dependencies, and configuration to enable Morph Cloud execution. Extended IOI problem evaluation to allow selecting Morph or Piston as the provider. Commit: af81114044e3f26166d1af058e9f8f6de382beef (Code Execution using Morph Cloud #614). Impact: expands provider options, improves evaluation flexibility, and sets the stage for potential performance/cost benefits.
