During December 2024, Abev66 contributed to the jellyfin/jellyfin repository by delivering Traditional Chinese translation resources for the Jellyfin UI. Focusing on localization and accessibility, Abev66 utilized JSON and Weblate-based translation workflows to integrate internationalization support directly into the user interface. This work addressed the need for improved accessibility for Chinese-speaking users, broadening the platform’s reach and aligning with multilingual UI requirements. The contribution was commit-driven and collaborative, emphasizing resource integration and concise updates. While the scope was limited to a single feature, the work demonstrated depth in localization, open source contribution, and translation within a production codebase.
