During January 2025, Abit Frosty enhanced domain blocking capabilities in the MHSanaei/3x-ui repository by implementing support for Russian domain extensions, specifically .su and .рф (xn--p1ai). This work involved updating the BlockDomainsOptions and DomainsOptions components using HTML and front-end development skills to ensure the new extensions were properly recognized and managed. The feature was delivered as a single, traceable commit linked to a relevant issue, aligning with product requirements and maintaining clear documentation. While the scope was focused and no bugs were addressed, the update improved the product’s flexibility in handling internationalized domain names within its blocking logic.
