During October 2024, work focused on stabilizing numeric operations and enhancing the reliability of percentage displays within the kamranahmedse/developer-roadmap repository. Using TypeScript and front end development skills, a targeted bug fix was delivered to refactor the getPercentage function, addressing edge cases that previously led to inconsistent percentage formatting across dashboards. The technical approach involved improving the underlying number utilities to ensure robust and reusable code, reducing the likelihood of user-facing errors in metrics visualization. This contribution improved code quality and reliability, ensuring that percentage outputs are consistently formatted and accurately displayed throughout the application’s various metrics dashboards.
