During February 2025, Andrii Boyko focused on stabilizing Maven dependency resolution in the openrewrite/rewrite repository. He addressed a persistent issue where Maven POM files were missing by implementing logic to generate a synthetic POM from the JAR’s GAV information, ensuring robust dependency downloads and reducing resolution failures. This solution was developed using Java and XML, leveraging skills in dependency management and Maven tooling. Andrii also expanded automated unit testing by adding coverage for Spring Boot project dependencies, which helps prevent regressions. His work improved project reliability by directly fixing a POM download bug and enhancing the overall dependency management process.
