Worked on the wix-incubator/pro-gallery repository over a two-month period, focusing on front-end development and JavaScript to address critical bugs affecting gallery initialization, video playback, and UI caching. Improved gallery initialization by ensuring the onGalleryScroll event fires reliably, even when no active item is present, using a fallback to the window scroll position for consistent analytics and rendering. Enhanced video gallery playback by resolving a scroll-position regression, restoring reliable playback when the active index was undefined. Strengthened UI reliability by updating blueprint caching logic to detect scrollBase changes, preventing stale data and ensuring accurate, up-to-date rendering for end users.
