Worked on the aave/interface repository to enhance the security and reliability of its CI/CD test workflows. Focused on risk mitigation, the developer addressed a potential code injection vulnerability by ensuring the PR_NUMBER variable was properly cast to a number and standardized its passage to the actions/checkout step. This change, implemented using YAML and GitHub Actions, strengthened the workflow’s defenses against injection attacks and improved the consistency of fork testing. No new customer-facing features were released during this period; instead, the primary contribution lay in improving CI stability and enabling faster, safer remediation of risks within the development pipeline.
