Addressed a metadata issue in the 2022 EMNLP XML by correcting an author’s name spelling and adding their affiliation, which enhanced the reliability of author attribution and downstream analytics. The work involved editing XML files and managing structured data, ensuring that the repository’s metadata remained consistent and accurate without introducing any new features or altering product functionality. Utilized skills in XML processing and data validation, contributing to more accurate search and analytics capabilities for users relying on the ACL Anthology’s metadata integrity.
