During February 2026, Abzhaw focused on improving repository hygiene for the obra/superpowers project by updating the .gitignore file to exclude macOS .DS_Store files. This change addressed the common issue of unwanted metadata cluttering the codebase, ensuring that only relevant source files are tracked. Abzhaw applied Git best practices and demonstrated disciplined repository maintenance, which resulted in cleaner commit histories and reduced noise in code reviews. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the work streamlined onboarding for new contributors and improved cross-platform consistency.
