Worked on the letsencrypt/boulder repository to enhance the Docker-based development workflow by integrating a certificate generation step into the setup process. Focused on improving developer onboarding and setup reliability, the contribution involved updating the project’s README documentation to instruct users to run the bsetup command before starting Boulder, ensuring necessary certificates are generated in advance. This change reduced common setup errors and improved the security posture of local development environments. The work demonstrated skills in DevOps, Docker, and technical documentation, with all updates implemented in Markdown to provide clearer, more reproducible instructions for new and existing contributors to the project.
