Developed and contributed a new packaging recipe for ExifReader 0.1.1 to the conda-forge/staged-recipes repository, enabling streamlined distribution and installation of Exif metadata extraction tools for TIFF and JPEG files within the Conda-Forge ecosystem. The work involved authoring comprehensive YAML configuration files, specifying package metadata, licensing, and detailed build instructions to ensure reproducibility and compliance with community standards. Leveraging Python development and package management expertise, the implementation aligned with Conda-Forge’s staging workflow, facilitating downstream adoption. No bug fixes were reported during this period, with efforts focused on delivering a robust, standards-compliant packaging solution for the open-source community.
