During May 2025, Baje Dev focused on improving the developer experience for the mrousavy/expo repository by addressing a documentation issue in the Firebase integration guide. Baje identified and corrected an incorrect export statement, updating it from defaultConfig to config to ensure the documentation accurately reflected the JavaScript codebase. This targeted change clarified the intended usage for developers, reducing the risk of misconfiguration and streamlining onboarding for Firebase within Expo projects. The work demonstrated careful attention to documentation quality and alignment with actual implementation, leveraging skills in JavaScript and technical writing to enhance clarity and maintainability for the project’s users.
