During April 2025, Oberholtzer upgraded the Docker image base for the ROCm/onnxruntime repository, replacing cbl-mariner with azurelinux to support newer versions of CMake and Python. This work involved updating the Dockerfile and associated build tooling, specifically setting CMake to version 3.28.0 to align with evolving project requirements. By addressing compatibility with continuous integration expectations, Oberholtzer improved the maintainability and future readiness of the build environment. The changes leveraged skills in containerization, DevOps, and shell scripting, ensuring the toolchain remains current and reducing the risk of build failures due to outdated dependencies. No bug fixes were recorded this period.
