Worked on enhancing the taosdata/TDengine repository by improving the Docker entrypoint script to ensure robust configuration parsing during container initialization. Focused on extracting critical parameters such as DATA_DIR, FQDN, FIRST_EP, and SERVER_PORT from the taosd configuration, the solution reduced deployment errors and streamlined the startup process for Docker-based environments. Leveraged skills in configuration management, Docker, and shell scripting to address a packaging issue, updating extraction logic and references for greater reliability. This targeted bug fix improved operational efficiency by minimizing runtime configuration pitfalls and lowering support overhead, contributing to more dependable and maintainable TDengine deployments in production.
