Worked on the SumoLogic/terraform-provider-sumologic repository, focusing on backend development and documentation using Go and Markdown. Delivered a targeted feature by enhancing JSON serialization for the ViewFilterDefinition, adding omitempty to the ViewFilter field to reduce payload size and limit unnecessary data exposure while maintaining backward compatibility. Addressed a critical bug affecting access control by resolving role validation errors for Deny selection_type during role updates, which improved reliability and user experience. Updated the changelog to reflect these changes and ensure release readiness. The work demonstrated attention to security, efficiency, and maintainability within the Terraform provider’s backend infrastructure.
