Worked on the kamailio/kamailio repository to refine observability within the User Location module by adjusting the logging mechanism. The update elevated certain log messages to the debug level when the system was not configured to publish, thereby improving log clarity and supporting more efficient troubleshooting without altering the core publish functionality or data flow. This targeted change enhanced operational visibility for user location events, making root-cause analysis more straightforward. The work was implemented in C and leveraged skills in debugging, logging, and system programming, adhering to best practices with minimal code changes and clear, traceable commits for maintainability.
