During March 2026, contributed to the OpenRailAssociation/osrd repository by implementing an Italian translation for the Operational Studies section, enhancing accessibility for Italian-speaking users. Leveraged front end development skills and translation management expertise to integrate the new localization using Weblate, with all changes tracked through JSON files and traceable commits. Established a structured translation workflow, including clear documentation and provenance, to streamline future localization updates and ensure maintainability. The work focused on reinforcing internationalization support within the project, laying the groundwork for additional language integrations and providing a transparent process for managing translations across the codebase without introducing new bugs.
