During May 2025, activatekillswitch extended the linux_build.sh script in the LizardByte/Sunshine repository to support Ubuntu 25.04, addressing the need for reliable builds on the latest OS release. By defining Ubuntu 25.04-specific variables for package updates, installations, CUDA, and GCC versions, they ensured the build process correctly adapts to new system requirements. This work, implemented using Shell scripting and leveraging Linux build scripting expertise, improved CI compatibility and reduced potential release blockers. The update enhanced deployment reliability and accelerated customer adoption on Ubuntu 25.04, reflecting a focused approach to release engineering and OS-level configuration management within a short timeframe.
