Worked on stabilizing Matrix-based notifications for the bluewave-labs/Checkmate repository, focusing on backend development and API integration using TypeScript. Refactored the notification handling logic to ensure compliance with the Matrix specification, which involved extracting common API call routines to reduce code duplication and improve maintainability. Enhanced error handling by implementing more robust logging, enabling faster troubleshooting and better observability of notification flows. The work addressed a key bug, improving the reliability and consistency of Matrix-integrated features.
