Developed and implemented an automated documentation link validation workflow for the flightctl/flightctl repository, focusing on improving documentation reliability and streamlining pull request validation. Leveraging GitHub Actions, YAML, and Markdown, the workflow was designed to run on pull requests, scheduled intervals, and manual triggers, providing flexible integration into existing CI/CD pipelines. The solution featured intelligent reporting for broken links, performance optimizations to minimize resource usage, and adjustments to ignore private repository links, reducing false positives. Additional work included resolving Markdown lint issues and refining output parameter handling, resulting in a more robust and maintainable documentation process for the project.
