Adam expanded the media processing capabilities of the 9001/copyparty repository by implementing RAW image thumbnail generation. Using Python and the rawpy library, Adam integrated support for detecting and processing RAW image formats, updating both the thumbnailing logic and configuration to recognize these new types. This work automated the creation of thumbnails from RAW files, reducing the need for manual preprocessing and accelerating content review workflows. Adam’s approach demonstrated a solid understanding of image processing and software architecture, resulting in a more scalable and maintainable pipeline. The changes delivered tangible improvements to asset support without introducing new bugs during the development period.
