During February 2025, contributed to the apache/avro repository by enhancing container readiness for PHP applications through Dockerfile customization. Focused on adding the php-curl extension to the PHP Docker image, this work ensured that HTTP API integrations could function reliably within containers, reducing the need for manual setup during deployments. The technical approach involved managing PHP extensions and adhering to containerization best practices, with all changes documented and traceable via project issue tracking. No high-severity bugs were reported, as efforts centered on stabilizing the PHP runtime environment and validating HTTP client functionality using DevOps and Docker skills.
