Refactored post meta handling by replacing *_post_meta reads and writes with direct wpdb insert and update calls, which reduced cache invalidation during frequent edits. Introduced environment-variable-based controls for enabling collaboration features, including updates to the user interface for easier management. Improved boot-order resilience by moving constant initialization into an on-demand helper, ensuring consistent behavior across deployments. Leveraged PHP and database management skills to align feature delivery patterns, supporting maintainability and future enhancements in WordPress back end development workflows.
