In dodal, we added a Synchrotron device to the i03 supervisor, enabling more precise control and real-time monitoring of synchrotron operations, complemented by targeted lint fixes to improve code quality. In mx-bluesky, we implemented a Countdown Safety Check that prevents progression when less than 10 minutes remain, accompanied by refactoring for clarity, consolidated alerting, and expanded test coverage to ensure reliability. The work included protocol-based refactoring, device renaming where applicable, and general improvements to plan typing and test resilience.

February 2026 — DiamondLightSource/mx-bluesky: Stabilized display-related configuration handling and improved reliability of display settings. Delivered a critical bug fix that updates the display_config path to a new directory, ensuring the application can locate the required configuration and prevents runtime errors.
