Worked on the katexochen/nixpkgs repository to deliver a privacy-first telemetry control feature and address a critical build issue. Implemented a telemetry opt-in mechanism for chromadb configuration, ensuring that anonymized data collection now requires explicit user consent, which enhances user trust and regulatory compliance. Addressed a build failure by patching CMakeLists.txt to resolve the missing Qt6::WaylandClientPrivate dependency, enabling proper Wayland support for hyprsysteminfo and improving platform compatibility. Utilized Nix for system and package management, focusing on build system configuration to streamline deployments and reduce build-time errors, ultimately supporting smoother user experiences across Qt6 and Wayland-based environments.
