During July 2025, Adept Vin developed a comprehensive TLS Migration Documentation Guide for the etcd-io/website repository, focusing on helping users transition existing non-TLS etcd clusters to secure TLS communication. The guide detailed each step, from checking cluster status to preparing and installing TLS certificates, enabling TLS for both client-to-server and server-to-server channels, and verifying secure communication post-migration. Adept Vin applied expertise in DevOps, security, and technical documentation, using Markdown to create clear, actionable instructions. This work addressed the need for secure deployment practices, reduced migration risks, and established a reusable documentation pattern for future security-focused migrations.
