Developed a booking and payment webhook enhancement for the kart1ka/cal.com repository, focusing on improving payment reconciliation and booking state transitions. The work centered on integrating SetupIntent event support into the webhook, enabling the system to handle held payments and automate no-show fee processing. This backend development effort, utilizing skills in API integration and webhook handling, ensured bookings could reliably transition from pending to confirmed status without manual intervention. The implementation included updates to TypeScript code and related test coverage, validating the end-to-end flow for payment setup, card holds, and booking confirmation, ultimately reducing revenue leakage and operational overhead.
