Worked on the HandBrake/HandBrake repository to enhance the reliability of color space metadata handling in video processing workflows. Focused on refactoring the color space attachment logic within cv_utils.c, the approach shifted to a more dynamic and robust method that reduces edge-case failures during metadata propagation. Addressed a gamma translation bug by correcting switch statement logic, which eliminated intermittent errors in color space translation. All changes were linked to a specific commit for traceability and auditability. The work leveraged C, CoreFoundation, and CoreVideo, demonstrating a targeted, detail-oriented approach to improving macOS development and video processing reliability.
