Adi-Seshu Kona developed a targeted unit test for the Plotly-based InstantiatedIndicatorChart within the os-climate/sostrades-core repository, focusing on enhancing the reliability of data visualization components. Using Python and leveraging Plotly’s visualization capabilities, Adi-Seshu validated the instantiation and configuration of indicator charts, specifically testing gauge and threshold properties. This work improved test coverage for core dashboard features, ensuring that basic configuration paths are exercised and reducing the risk of regression. By strengthening automated testing practices and supporting future CI quality gates, Adi-Seshu contributed to the maintainability and robustness of the project’s visualization layer during the development period.
