Worked on enhancing French localization for the th-ch/youtube-music repository over a two-month period, focusing on internationalization and translation quality. Leveraged JSON and Weblate to automate and streamline the localization pipeline, which increased French translation coverage from 98.5% to full completion. Implemented updates that clarified UI text, particularly around API authorization, to improve user comprehension for French-speaking users. Maintained a clean, traceable workflow with documented commits, ensuring future scalability and maintainability of translations. The approach reduced manual translation debt and accelerated release cycles, demonstrating a methodical application of i18n and localization best practices within a collaborative development environment.
