During October 2024, contributed to the os-climate/sostrades-core repository by developing a targeted unit test for the Plotly-based InstantiatedIndicatorChart component. This work focused on validating the instantiation and basic configuration of indicator charts, specifically exercising gauge and threshold properties to ensure correct behavior. By enhancing test coverage for these core data visualization components, the changes improved regression safety and supported future continuous integration quality gates. The implementation leveraged Python and Plotly, with an emphasis on robust testing practices. This effort addressed reliability concerns in dashboard visualizations and laid groundwork for more maintainable and testable visualization features within the codebase.
