Adi Seshu Kona developed a targeted unit test for the Plotly-based InstantiatedIndicatorChart within the os-climate/sostrades-core repository, focusing on enhancing the reliability of data visualization components. Using Python and leveraging Plotly for chart rendering, Adi validated the instantiation and configuration of indicator charts, specifically testing gauge and threshold properties. This work improved test coverage for core visualization features, ensuring that basic configuration paths are exercised and regression risks are minimized. By strengthening automated testing practices and supporting future CI quality gates, Adi contributed to the maintainability and robustness of dashboard visualizations, demonstrating depth in both data visualization and testing methodologies.
