Worked on enhancing the security of the openMF/fineract repository by delivering a feature that introduced precise read-access permissions for Standing Instruction History. The approach involved refactoring both the service interface and its implementation to improve clarity and maintainability, while codifying read permissions directly within the SecurityConfig. This change strengthened the default security posture and provided a cleaner API surface for future development. The work was implemented using Java and the Spring Framework, with a focus on backend development and API design. No bugs were addressed during this period, as the primary focus was on feature delivery and architectural improvements.
