Worked on the checkstyle/checkstyle repository to enhance code quality by addressing documentation and style check stability. Focused on relocating violation comments outside Javadoc blocks, this change prevented interference with generated documentation and reduced false positives during doc generation. Updated both unit and regression tests to reflect the new comment structure, ensuring that style checks and documentation processes remained unaffected by violation messages. All modifications were validated against the continuous integration and test suite to maintain build stability and minimize downstream impact. Utilized Java and unit testing skills throughout the process, with an emphasis on maintainability and clean code practices.
