Worked on the casey/bitcoin repository to enhance build reliability and codebase quality by implementing a pkgconf-based dependency setup, replacing the previous pkg-config approach. This update improved compatibility with Debian and Ubuntu environments, resulting in smoother CI/CD workflows and more predictable builds. The work involved updating CI configuration files and documentation, using Shell and YAML to automate dependency management and clarify installation instructions. Additionally, corrected typos in C++ test assertions and Markdown documentation, which improved both test reliability and onboarding clarity for new contributors. The changes contributed to a more stable build process and a clearer, more maintainable codebase.
