During October 2024, Taah focused on enhancing the acm-ucr/hackathon-website by delivering a feature that improved the sign-in experience. He converted the sign-in component to a client-side component by introducing the 'use client' directive, aligning the implementation with Next.js best practices for client interactivity. This adjustment enabled the sign-in functionality to leverage React’s client-side rendering capabilities, resulting in a more responsive user experience. Working primarily with TypeScript, React, and Next.js, Taah’s contribution addressed the need for faster, interactive authentication flows. The work was targeted and technically sound, reflecting a focused approach to frontend development within a single repository.
