During November 2025, Alexandros Drosos developed the Donation Preferences Management feature for the JabRef/jabref repository, focusing on enhancing user control over donation-related settings. He designed and implemented a default structure for donation preferences in Java, allowing users to reset configurations and manage the visibility of donation prompts within the graphical user interface. His work centered on building a robust data model and reset logic, laying the groundwork for scalable and user-driven preference management. By leveraging his skills in GUI development and software design, Alexandros enabled future extensibility of donation configurations while improving the overall user experience and compliance with UX standards.
