Developed the Donation Preferences Management feature for the JabRef/jabref repository, establishing a default structure for donation settings and enabling users to reset their donation configurations. Focused on implementing the underlying data model and reset logic, the work allowed users to control the visibility of donation prompts, enhancing user autonomy within the application. Leveraging Java and applying principles of GUI development and software design, the feature laid the groundwork for scalable and maintainable donation configuration. This approach set the stage for future enhancements to user-initiated preferences and compliant user experience flows, while minimizing the need for extensive code changes in subsequent updates.
