During July 2025, Adrs developed an End-of-Life Linux Distribution Detection Plugin for the google/osv-scalibr repository. The plugin parses operating system release data to identify Fedora and Ubuntu distributions that no longer receive security updates, addressing the need for proactive risk mitigation. Adrs extended the existing plugin architecture in Go, integrating the new detection logic with the risk-scoring pipeline and continuous integration workflows. This work required strong skills in Go development, operating system analysis, and vulnerability detection. The solution improved visibility into unsupported environments, enabling teams to prioritize remediation and automate risk alerts, reflecting a focused and technically robust engineering contribution.
