Worked on the flyteorg/flyte repository to streamline workflow execution configuration by cleaning up and standardizing RunSettings. Focused on removing unused run concurrency and action concurrency settings, the changes simplified configuration management and reduced the risk of misconfiguration in production environments. Migrated the RunSettings label schema from a list to a map structure, aligning with Kubernetes conventions to enable child overrides and minimize key conflicts across clusters. Leveraged Go and Kubernetes expertise, along with skills in API design and backend development, to improve configuration reliability, portability, and developer productivity through clearer semantics and consistent naming across different deployment environments.
