During a one-month engagement, the developer contributed to the woodpecker-ci/woodpecker repository by implementing Traditional Chinese user interface translations, enhancing accessibility for Chinese-speaking users. Leveraging XML and Weblate, they established a repeatable localization workflow, integrating translation updates directly into the project’s internationalization pipeline. Their work focused on improving release readiness for international audiences by increasing translation coverage to 14.8 percent. The approach demonstrated proficiency in internationalization and localization, as well as effective use of Git for commit traceability. While the scope was limited to a single feature, the contribution laid groundwork for ongoing multilingual support and improved user experience.
