Worked on the pubky/pkarr repository to enhance the reliability of client initialization by focusing on error handling and configuration management using Rust. Addressed a critical bug in the cherry-pick logic during client startup, ensuring that errors are now surfaced with more specific and actionable messages. Refactored the error handling paths for relay configuration and client building, which improved the robustness and debuggability of the initialization process. These changes reduced the likelihood of downstream issues and enabled faster diagnosis of failures. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to improving system stability through targeted bug fixes and thoughtful error management in Rust.
