Worked on the GoogleCloudPlatform/magic-modules repository to deliver a backupDR-backed restoration capability for Filestore file shares. Developed a new configuration flag that enables restoring file shares from BackupDR backups, updating both the Go-based implementation and the associated YAML configuration. Added a dedicated test case to validate the backup restoration flow, ensuring disaster recovery processes are robust and recovery times are minimized. Focused on infrastructure as code principles using Terraform, the work improved configuration flexibility across different environments. The approach emphasized maintainability and reliability, with thorough testing and clear configuration updates to support seamless integration into existing workflows.
