Worked on the iOfficeAI/AionUi repository to deliver two features focused on cross-platform compatibility and user interface refinement. Developed a Node.js function to accurately detect the user's login shell across macOS, Linux, and Windows, consolidating OS-specific logic to reduce CLI environment misconfigurations and streamline onboarding. Enhanced the chat interface in React by refining dark mode visuals, including selected state indicators, message typography, and send button styling, which improved usability and readability. Utilized TypeScript and CSS to ensure maintainable, robust code. The work emphasized reliability and user experience, supporting a more consistent developer workflow and reducing environment-related onboarding issues.
