Worked on the inspektor-gadget/inspektor-gadget repository to deliver a reproducible benchmark environment by introducing a Distroless Debian12 image for the tools/bench component. This effort focused on improving the reliability and consistency of benchmarking results by updating the benchmarks.yaml configuration to reference the new image and implementing digest pinning for deterministic version control. Leveraged skills in benchmarking, containerization, and DevOps, utilizing Dockerfile and YAML to manage and configure the environment. The work emphasized reproducibility and maintainability, ensuring that benchmark runs are consistent across environments and over time, while also enhancing image naming conventions for better traceability and control.
