Worked on the livebook-dev/livebook repository to modernize Docker environment variable configuration, addressing a deprecated ENV usage that previously triggered warnings during deployment. The approach involved updating Dockerfiles and related Elixir code to align with current best practices for environment variable handling, thereby improving deployment reliability and compatibility with CI/CD pipelines. Leveraging skills in DevOps, Docker, and Elixir, the work focused on reducing future maintenance overhead by ensuring the codebase adheres to industry standards. Although no new features were added during this period, the targeted bug fix enhanced the overall stability and maintainability of the deployment process for the project.
