
During two months contributing to rit-sse/WebsiteTheSSEquel, Alex Hasuncion developed a privacy-first GoLinks feature and a scalable alumni management subsystem. Alex designed and implemented backend API endpoints and database models using TypeScript, Prisma, and SQL, enabling private GoLinks and robust alumni data handling. The work included UI enhancements in React for GoLink creation, validation, and special character handling, as well as mobile-friendly alumni profile management with LinkedIn and GitHub integration. Alex addressed bugs affecting UI rendering and data integrity, coordinated end-to-end updates across API and frontend, and improved code maintainability, demonstrating depth in full stack development and responsive design.
